According to Apple, Wi-Fi iPad models will be available April 3rd at all US Apple Stores and select Apple Authorized resellers. Beginning on March 12th, Apple will begin taking pre-orders online and Apple Stores will allow people to reserve an iPad for pickup on April 3rd. iPad preorders starting February 25th?

According to AppAdvice, Apple will begin taking preorders for Wi-Fi model iPads as soon as February 25th. While it also estimates it will take another month before they will ship, it gives Apple ample opportunity to gauge sentiment well in advance of the launch date.
